Before a utility company can benefit from the power & smart flexibility delivered by the UMAX solution a long way has been covered.
Our sales team, also called Business Development, kicks off with fit gap analyses at the client. During these workshops a mapping of the functional & technical requirements of the customer is done and compared to the standard functionality of our solution. At this point the team defines scope, architecture & customer specific functionality and discusses the project plan, timing and budget.

About the working atmosphere & fun factor
First off, Itineris is a young & dynamic company with a flat hierarchical structure and a low threshold to exchange ideas with management. We’re advocates of an open office & open door policy and are strong promoters of “solidarity”. Itineris also foresaw a Personnel committee called “Diablo” which is “dialog partner” between the management team & the employees.
At Itineris we work hard, but also foresee time to play hard. Itineris foresees in various informal & formal meeting moments such as quarterly status meetings, management updates, company events, team building sessions, knowledge shares, TGIF drinks in local pubs and end of sprint drinks. Moreover, there are family moments such as our yearly ‘Saint Nicholas’ party as well, where young and old are treated well by the good old saint.
When you work hard it is equally important to blow off steam … and to maintain balance. We support our employees by offering opportunities to do sports and bond with their colleagues. We accommodate sports & moments to relax during working hours, like a Ping-Pong table, table soccer, Kubb… plus we’re member of the league of company sports which organizes marathons, volleyball & soccer matches on a regular basis. About training & development
We make sure that you’re “up to speed” as quickly as possible with a thorough onboarding process. Whether a starter or an expert, you will be trained in the different functional/technical processes of the utility industry, in the UMAX solution, Microsoft and internal procedures & processes…. In a second phase we believe that a great way to learn is a hands-on approach. You learn by doing, during projects and on the job at our clients as each of them have their own specifications and methods of working.
Next up and depending on your ‘personal journey’ you’ll be presented with opportunities for training & development in line with your functional and/or technical ambitions such as Prince2, ITIL and management skills. We have specific training courses worked for all our consultants and rely on the vast expertise of parties like Microsoft & the Vlerick Business School.
On top of these more formal trajectories Itineris also foresees in regular knowledge sharing sessions which we conveniently call “knowledge cafés” as to combine business with pleasure. During these sessions, new developments, best practices, tips & tricks, technologies as well as some interesting soft skills are taught or shared by employees for employees.
