We want to become the global leader in business solutions (ERP/CIS) for utilities on Microsoft technology. Yes, we aim high and have therefore shaped everything around our UMAX solution in a tight business model. Through this tight business model, we can guarantee the success of our IT projects, deliver the UMAX solution to our clients’ satisfaction and realize our growth objectives, in all confidence.

The success of an IT project not merely depends on having a good solution or great service, but is also greatly influenced by the people behind that solution or service.

It’s often forgotten that IT is a people business… and people is what Itineris is all about! We’re truly committed, through our motivated, experienced and determined employees, to the success of all our current and future utility projects.

And of course we don’t forget the fun factor in things!!

We operate through a clear business model

Want to know more about the ‘functioning’ at Itineris?

    What about learning & development?

    We’re committed… are you?

Before a utility company can benefit from the power & smart flexibility delivered by the UMAX solution a long way has been covered.

Our sales team, also called Business Development, kicks off with fit gap analyses at the client. During these workshops a mapping of the functional & technical requirements of the customer is done and compared to the standard functionality of our solution. At this point the team defines scope, architecture & customer specific functionality and discusses the project plan, timing and budget.

Once the above mentioned points are clarified, the Itineris implementation & building teams come aboard and enter into deep dive sessions with the client on specific utility processes and domains. From these deep dive sessions functional designs and technical designs are delivered to the developers who will configure the solution to the required parameters of the client and/or build the customer specific/tailored modules.Once the building phase is concluded, our testing teams begin the required regression testing according to predefined scripts. Once the solution is ready to be deployed at the client, user acceptance tests as well as performance tests are conducted. After delivery of the solution, the Itineris teams enter into a ‘hypercare’ modus. From that point onwards, its one step to finalizing the project and entering in maintenance mode.

People & fun

It’s often forgotten that IT is a people business… and people is what Itineris is all about!  Each Itineris’ employee is either an expert in his or her domain, passionate about energy and/or bitten by IT! We strive to bring out the most in our employees and therefore – obviously – foresee in:

  • The necessary job-required & additional employee benefits such as a company car, gas card, mobile phone, laptop, insurance…
  • A good working atmosphere with regular informal & formal meeting points such as end of sprint drinks, knowledge share sessions, quarterly meetings, company events…
  • The required learning & development trajectories and training possibilities

About the job-required advantages

What does it mean to be an employee at Itineris? You’re a team player, with a drive to learn and share your ideas. Curiosity and ‘a hands-on’ mentality which matches/aligns with our entrepreneurial environment.

We are flexible employees providing a flexible solution to our clients; we work hard to deliver quality on schedule to our clients. This passion is reflected top to bottom from our CEO to our newest hire.

Itineris foresees in the required tools, systems & processes to help you do your job, to realize your objectives and succeed in your mission. We offer our employees next to these required tools also a competitive salary with some very interesting extra-legal advantages, like a company car, gas card, group insurance, hospital insurance, expenses note, mobile phone, internet, laptop and so on.

On top of these benefits, Itineris also foresees in a compensation for project members working abroad delivering missions at our clients, some incentives for extracurricular activities such as bringing on new talents.

Within the IT business, it’s all about people and Itineris of all companies understands that very well and therefore provides in many more untraditional advantages such as tickets for sporting events, participation in the Hercules trophy, movie premieres….

About the working atmosphere & fun factor

diablo-logo First off, Itineris is a young & dynamic company with a flat hierarchical structure and a low threshold to exchange ideas with management. We’re advocates of an open office & open door policy and are strong promoters of “solidarity”. Itineris also foresaw a Personnel committee called “Diablo” which is “dialog partner” between the management team & the employees.

At Itineris we work hard, but also foresee time to play hard. Itineris foresees in various informal & formal meeting moments such as quarterly status meetings, management updates, company events, team building sessions, knowledge shares, TGIF drinks in local pubs and end of sprint drinks. Moreover, there are family moments such as our yearly ‘Saint Nicholas’ party as well, where young and old are treated well by the good old saint.

When you work hard it is equally important to blow off steam … and to maintain balance. We support our employees by offering opportunities to do sports and bond with their colleagues. We accommodate sports & moments to relax during working hours, like a Ping-Pong table, table soccer, Kubb… plus we’re member of the league of company sports which organizes marathons, volleyball & soccer matches on a regular basis. Our employees also come up with all sorts of initiatives to entertain their colleagues like quizzes, game nights, book or cd launches, polar bear plunges…

Discover on the testimonials page a selection and overview of some fun events at Itineris. As you’ll be able to detect from the pictures… we’re not an ‘ordinary company’.

About training & development

We make sure that you’re “up to speed” as quickly as possible with a thorough onboarding process. Whether a starter or an expert, you will be trained in the different functional/technical processes of the utility industry, in the UMAX solution, Microsoft and internal procedures & processes…. In a second phase we believe that a great way to learn is a hands-on approach. You learn by doing, during projects and on the job at our clients as each of them have their own specifications and methods of working.

Next up and depending on your ‘personal journey’ you’ll be presented with opportunities for training & development in line with your functional and/or technical ambitions such as Prince2, ITIL and management skills. We have specific training courses worked for all our consultants and rely on the vast expertise of parties like Microsoft & the Vlerick Business School.

On top of these more formal trajectories Itineris also foresees in regular knowledge sharing sessions which we conveniently call “knowledge cafés” as to combine business with pleasure. During these sessions, new developments, best practices, tips & tricks, technologies as well as some interesting soft skills are taught or shared by employees for employees.
